Assessment Practices of Student’s Clinical Competences in Nurse Education

Background: Clinical competence in nursing practices includes all the theoretical and clinical knowledge used by student a setting. It also involves psychomotor as well problem-solving skills. The assessment focuses on evaluating student's ability to provide both safe competent care for patients. However, it requires use of several methods that must be varied according components competence. Several studies have revealed evaluation this competency is mostly limited testing or acquisition technical skills verification. Aims: This study has two objectives. Firstly, aims analyze related adopted teachers higher institutes health technology Morocco. Secondly, seeks identify difficulties faced them using variety appropriate tools target Methods: Based model adapted from Miller’s pyramid Mehay Burns 2009, relating competence, self-administered questionnaire was shared with 129 teachers. Results: results indicate 98.06% participants given tool assess competence; however, evaluate its limited, are not characterized variety. Conclusion: Reflecting competences, could proposed accordance measure impact students' learning.
